The Searchbot requires the CMS Realty Core Component to be installed. Visit the downloads page to get the latest releases.

It requires that you use the same database for both Mambo and Open-Realty. If you have set these up using separate databases then you may still be able to get this to work as long as you access these databases with different usernames and passwords.

Install the searchbot via the Joomla mambot installer. Once installed, go to your Mambots => Site Mambots menu and edit the following parameters:

• Ensure the CMS Realty Searchbot is published.
• Associate a menu item with the listings linked to by the search results. It is not necessary to set this value but is useful if you have different module and templates displayed on different pages.
• Set the Descriptions Fields - this must be set. It defines which Open-Realty listing field to display as a description in search results. If you are unsure, log on to your Open-Realty administration page, go to Edit Listing Template, find the field you would like displayed, and copy the Field Name entry.
